Endurance Training Group (Years 6–11) Our Endurance Training Group is designed for athletes in age 11-18 who want to build their stamina, improve their distance running, and prepare for the start of the outdoor athletics season. These sessions focus on developing the key elements of endurance running, including aerobic fitness, pacing, running technique, and race strategy. Athletes will take part in a mix of structured endurance runs, interval sessions, and conditioning work to help them improve their strength and stamina. The group is also aimed at athletes preparing for EYAL competitions, giving them the opportunity to build the fitness and confidence needed for middle-distance and longer events during the outdoor season. What athletes will work on: Building aerobic endurance and stamina Pacing and race strategy Interval and tempo training Running technique and efficiency Our goal is to help athletes develop strong endurance foundations, prepare for the outdoor season, and perform confidently in upcoming EYAL competitions.
