Hurdles Specialist Classes (Years 6–11)

Our Hurdles Specialist Classes are designed for athletes in Years 6–11 who want to develop their hurdling technique and improve their performance on the track. These sessions focus on the key technical elements of hurdling, helping athletes become faster, more efficient, and more confident over hurdles.

Athletes will work on lead and trail leg technique, hurdle rhythm, sprint mechanics between hurdles, and race preparation through structured drills and focused technical coaching.

The sessions aim to build coordination, speed, and confidence while developing strong hurdling fundamentals.

These classes are also ideal for athletes preparing for upcoming track competitions, giving them the opportunity to practice hurdle technique and race strategies in a supportive training environment.

What athletes will work on:
Lead leg and trail leg technique
Hurdle rhythm and stride patterns
Sprinting between hurdles
Speed, coordination, and race preparation

Our goal is to help athletes improve their hurdling technique, build confidence, and perform at their best in competition.
